Manager, Analytics
The Manager, Analytics plays a pivotal role in strengthening the organization's business intelligence and analytic capabilities, ensuring high-quality, data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. This leader partners closely with the Executive Director of Strategy, Analytics, & Innovation to oversee analytics, business intelligence (BI) development, financial analysis, and other organizational initiatives, while creating and upholding a culture of analytic rigor, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. The role includes supervising a team of analysts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of analytic and BI outputs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, and other initiatives as required, ensuring clear prioritization, effective planning, and appropriate resource allocation.
  • Champion a culture of analytic rigor by ensuring all analytic and BI work adheres to high standards of accuracy, methodological integrity, and clear interpretation. Build an environment that values innovation, disciplined execution, and continuous learning.
  • Guide the development and enhancement of business intelligence solutions that deliver actionable insights, support operational and clinical decision-making, and advance organizational goals.
  • With input from manager and other key stakeholders, develop the long-term vision for the analytics and business intelligence function, developing plans that advance organizational analytic strategy and resources.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and direction to team members to strengthen analytic thinking, BI solution design, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in analytics and business intelligence, including best practices, data modeling, visualization standards, and opportunities to leverage automation, machine learning, or AI where appropriate.
  • Partner closely with the Epic Cogito developer team to ensure alignment between enterprise analytics needs and Cogito-based data models, tools, and workflows.
  • Assist in managing day-to-day departmental operations, including budgeting, capital planning, resource allocation, vendor management, and invoice processing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, clinicians, operational leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics in a health care setting required.
  • 7+ years of experience supervising or managing analytics teams or project teams.
  • Experience with Tableau required; PowerBI preferred.
  • Experience working with Epic analytics tools strongly preferred; Epic Cogito certification also strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, including cross-functional facilitation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
