About the Role:
Paris Baguette Downtown Cincinnati is looking for an energetic and friendly Barista & Cashier to join our team! If you love crafting delicious beverages, delivering exceptional customer service, and being part of a vibrant café environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages to customer specifications
  • Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming, positive café experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, equipment, and dining area
  • Assist with stocking and displaying baked goods, pastries, and café merchandise
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth café operations
Requirements:
  • Previous barista, cashier, or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire
