Job Description Commonlands is a camera optics component provider for the robotics and computer vision industries. Our lenses are used in next generation self checkout stores, surveillance camera systems, warehouse robotics, and more. About the Position In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies to ensure that they meet quality standards. Our ideal candidate is extremely meticulous and detail-oriented. We are looking for someone who wants to utilize these skills to support us in our mission to provide our customers with the highest quality miniature imaging lenses and optical components. Responsibilities Visually inspect lenses for quality defects. Perform measurements using calibrated tools such as calipers. Assemble products when required. Document inspection outcomes and maintain accurate records. Read and interpret mechanical drawings to understand product specifications. Implement sample rate inspection to ensure product quality. Adhere to and promote our ISO9001 quality management system. Minimum Requirements High school degree and authorized to work in the US. Exceptional attention to detail. Meticulous and efficient approach to work. Ability to learn new precision measurement tools. Punctual and reliable. Skills/Experience that will help your application Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree. 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory technician, quality inspector, or other similar job. Past work experience using calipers. Knowledge of how to read and interpret mechanical drawings. Familiarity with ISO9001 quality management procedures. Experience working in a small business.
