Job description

Whitestone Associates, Inc. is a 100% employee-owned Geotechnical and Environmental consulting firm with offices throughout the eastern United States. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel);
  • Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results;
  • Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis;
  • Preparation of field data and technical reports; and
  • Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections with extensive travel to Columbus, OH.

Qualifications:

  • Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification;
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1; and
  • Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation highly preferred.

Preferred Certifications:

  • 5+ years experience in field construction inspection and testing;
  • ICC Soils;
  • ICC Reinforced Concrete;
  • ICC Concrete Placement; and
  • ICC Structural Steel and Bolting.

Higher compensation than the amount listed below may be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Hourly Pay Range
$28—$30 USD
