Public Sector Asset & Work Management Principal Advisor
Department: Infor Consulting Services

Location: US-Remote
Description
Infor is seeking a Solution Architect to design and deliver Public Sector Asset and Work Management solutions aligned with customer business needs. This role will define solution architecture, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure solutions meet operational, security, performance, and scalability requirements. Candidates should have experience supporting asset-intensive organizations across horizontal infrastructure, such as roads, water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation; vertical assets, including facilities, plants, and buildings; and fleet operations.
A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Design and develop solution architectures based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define system configurations, integrations, data requirements, and dependencies.
  • Lead workshops with customer stakeholders to understand business processes and operational needs.
  • Conduct assessments of existing systems and recommend solutions for modernization, optimization, or cloud migration.
  • Design integrations with ERP, GIS, fleet, financial, inventory, and other enterprise systems.
  • Ensure solutions align with security, performance, scalability, and supportability requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify risks and develop mitigation plans for solution delivery and system integration.
  • Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams, solution designs, specifications, and integration documentation.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), CMMS, Public Works, Utilities, Fleet, or Public Sector operational solutions.
  • Experience with asset management processes supporting horizontal infrastructure, facilities, buildings, plants, or fleet operations.
  • Experience with system architecture principles including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Experience leading solution design discussions with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel within North America at 50% or more.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Infor Public Sector, Infor EAM, Hansen, IPS, or similar asset management platforms.
  • Experience with GIS, ERP, fleet management, permitting, or utility systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with software delivery methodologies and large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with system integration, APIs, data modeling, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience providing strategic guidance on technical solutions across complex public sector projects.
