Associate Property Claims Adjuster (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (3–6 month contract before direct conversion)

Pay Rate: $24.00 / hour

About the Role

A leading national property and casualty insurance carrier is seeking entry-level to mid-level Associate Property Claims Adjusters to join their growing Property Claims team. This role is a direct path to a long-term career in insurance adjusting, offering comprehensive training, professional licensing sponsorship, and structured career advancement opportunities.

In this role, you will investigate, evaluate, and resolve low-complexity property claims, serving as a primary point of empathetic support for policyholders during unexpected events.

What We Offer

Licensing Support: Company-sponsored training to obtain and maintain required adjuster licenses.

Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office (Monday–Wednesday) / 2 days remote (Thursday–Friday); 38.75 hours/week (7.75 hours/day between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM). Note: May require full-time on-site presence during initial training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims of minimal complexity using discretion and independent judgment.

• Conduct phone outreach to customers to confirm claim details, policy coverage, liability, and damages.

• Provide professional, polite, and empathetic service to policyholders throughout the claims process.

• Take recorded statements and document claim details accurately.

• Identify suspicious claims and collaborate with Special Investigations Units (SIU) as needed.

• Complete formal onboarding and ongoing technical training programs.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Willingness to obtain and maintain required state adjuster licenses (company sponsored).

• Strong phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection for home-office remote days.
