S&S Mechanical – St. George, UT

S&S Mechanical is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Foreman to lead HVAC installation crews on commercial construction projects throughout St. George and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HVAC Foreman, Lead Installer, or Commercial HVAC Supervisor looking to join a growing company with long-term career opportunities, competitive pay, and strong benefits.

Commercial HVAC Foreman – Job Summary

As a Commercial HVAC Foreman, you will oversee HVAC installation crews on active commercial construction sites. You will coordinate daily operations, manage manpower and materials, ensure installations meet code and project specifications, and help keep projects on schedule and within budget.

This position is ideal for a motivated HVAC leader with strong field experience in commercial HVAC systems, ductwork installation, mechanical construction, and jobsite leadership.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise commercial HVAC installation crews
  • Plan daily jobsite activities and delegate tasks effectively
  • Coordinate HVAC installations according to blueprints, engineered plans, and specifications
  • Oversee installation of:
    • Ductwork systems
    • Rooftop units (RTUs)
    • Split systems
    • Refrigerant piping
    • Ventilation systems
    • HVAC controls and mechanical equipment
  • Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes and OSHA safety standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, engineers, and inspectors
  • Train and mentor HVAC apprentices and junior installers
  • Manage materials, tools, and jobsite resources efficiently
  • Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve field challenges
  • Assist with system startup, punch lists, and final project completion
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe construction site

Qualifications – Commercial HVAC ForemanRequired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Commercial HVAC systems
    • Ductwork installation
