We are looking for a controller for our accounting department who is looking to join a fast\-paced, high\-demand set of companies.<\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/p>

\-Follow and comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Monitoring and controlling cash flow<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls to protect assets<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Establish, monitor, and enforce policies and procedures<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Create and complete financial reporting systems (daily\/weekly\/monthly\/quarterly\/annual)<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Oversee payroll, benefits, accounts receivable and accounts payable<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Collect, interpret, and report financial data<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Monitor debt and credit, pursue collections<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Education<\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

\-BA\/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

<\/p>

Technical Skills and Prior Experience<\/b><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Experience working in a manufacturing setting or warehouse is preferred.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, state\/national regulations<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Strict attention to detail<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast \-pace setting. Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise or other large automated accounting system is needed. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Strong verbal and written communication skills.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Ability to multi\-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.<\/span><\/span>
