Allegiance Home Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Home Healthcare Scheduler to manage the intake process for new patients. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless transition of care for our clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in home health care, medical scheduling, patient intake, or healthcare administration
  • Knowledge of home health services, Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance verification processes preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare scheduling software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPPAA regulations
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • knowledge of clinician scheduling, staffing coordination, and patient admissions processes
  • Experience in a Medicare-certified home health agency
