Job description

Our client is in need of a Structural Engineer with 15+ years of experience supporting the design and analysis of commercial, industrial, and building-related structural projects. This is a full-time position located in Houston and will be 100% in the office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background designing structural steel, reinforced concrete, wood structures, foundations, and building systems. Project experience may include commercial buildings, industrial facilities, residential structures, renovations, deep and shallow foundations, and other complex structural systems requiring detailed analysis and code compliance.
This individual must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred but not required. The candidate should have experience leading design projects, preparing calculations and technical reports, reviewing drawings, coordinating with clients, architects, contractors, and internal project teams, and providing guidance to junior engineers and designers.
Strong proficiency with structural design and analysis software is required, including RISA 3D, STAAD.Pro, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, or similar structural programs. Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and structural BIM coordination is also highly preferred.
This role is a strong fit for a senior-level structural engineer who is comfortable working on a mixed variety of projects, leading technical efforts, supporting clients, mentoring team members, and helping deliver quality structural design solutions from concept through completion.
