Description
TeleSolv is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to support critical Government operations in Port Hueneme, California. This role calls for a disciplined and technically adept professional capable of overseeing complex maintenance programs and ensuring operational readiness across a large inventory of construction and equipment assets. The selected candidate will serve as the central authority for managing Maintenance Data Systems and Planned Maintenance Systems (MDS/PMS), ensuring compliance with established directives while leading maintenance personnel to deliver consistent, high-quality results. This position requires independent judgment, technical expertise, and strong leadership to maintain mission-critical systems and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate Maintenance Data Systems (MDS) and Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) databases
  • Oversee maintenance operations and supervise contractor personnel, including Work Center Supervisors and 3M program staff
  • Administer NTCSS and SKED systems, ensuring all records remain complete and up to date
  • Develop and submit detailed weekly equipment maintenance reports to Government leadership
  • Maintain and support the Technical Manual Library in compliance with governing directives
  • Ensure all maintenance activity adheres to applicable instructions and notify leadership of any discrepancies
  • Provide technical and safety training to maintenance personnel
  • Deliver technical support to supply operations, including repair parts management
  • Perform quality assurance reviews of maintenance documentation and outputs
  • Maintain compliance with PMS, MDS, and Inactive Equipment Maintenance (IEM) standards
  • Prepare and submit required CESE-related correspondence to higher headquarters for administrative control

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Maintenance Management, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • Prior experience supporting Government maintenance or logistics operations
    Experience managing large inventories and maintenance workloads in high-tempo environments
    Advanced familiarity with CESE lifecycle management
  • Prior experience supporting Government maintenance or logistics operations

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems, including MDS, PMS, and IEM
  • Proficiency in Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS), including R-Supply and OMMS-NG functions

  • Ability to interpret and utilize technical manuals and engineering drawings
  • Working knowledge of CESE management and applicable directives
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and electronic communications
  • Strong analytical skills to identify deviations and implement corrective actions
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for reporting and coordination
