General Affairs & HR Coordinator

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Department: Strategic Marketing

Reports to: Vice President, Business Development

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

A well-funded global technology company is establishing its U.S. headquarters in San Jose and is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support general affairs and HR administration. This role will work closely with U.S. leadership and Korea headquarters, supporting day-to-day operations and employee lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

General Affairs

Manage office operations including facilities, vendors, supplies, and equipment

Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements

Process expense reports and support basic accounting workflows

Act as liaison between U.S. office and Korea headquarters

Support visiting executives and coordinate meetings and logistics

HR Administration

Coordinate recruiting processes including interview scheduling and candidate communication

Support onboarding and offboarding activities

Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with U.S. labor regulations

Support visa and immigration processes (H-1B, L-1, E-2) with external counsel

Assist with employee engagement and internal communications

Qualifications

Full professional fluency in Korean and English (written and verbal)

3+ years of experience in administrative, HR, or office management roles

Experience working within a U.S. subsidiary of a Korean company

Understanding of both U.S. and Korean business practices

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred

Familiarity with U.S. labor law and HR systems (e.g., BambooHR, Rippling, Gusto)

Experience supporting visa and immigration processes

Experience supporting executive teams
