About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with at least five years of experience working within an architectural practice. You will play an integral role in producing and coordinating Design Development and Construction Documents while working closely with Project Architects, consultants, and the broader project team.

The successful candidate will have strong Revit expertise and experience delivering projects across commercial, multifamily, institutional, and community sectors. Experience across multiple project types is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate Design Development and Construction Documents

• Produce high quality architectural drawings and BIM models using Revit

• Coordinate architectural documentation with structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and specialty consultants

• Prepare permit submissions, tender packages, and construction documentation

• Assist with building code analysis and technical detailing

• Participate in drawing reviews and quality control processes

• Support Contract Administration and technical coordination throughout project delivery

• Resolve technical and production related challenges during all project phases

• Collaborate with architects, consultants, clients, and contractors

• Contribute to the successful delivery of commercial, multifamily, institutional, and community projects

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architectural Technology or Bachelor of Architecture

• 5+ years of experience within an architectural practice

• Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows

• Extensive experience producing Design Development and Construction Documents

• Experience coordinating consultant drawings across multiple disciplines

• Experience working on commercial, multifamily, institutional, and community projects, with experience across multiple sectors strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of Canadian building codes, construction systems, and technical detailing

• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a collaborative team environment

Additional Requirements

• Authorized to work in Canada

• Fluent in English

• Valid driver's license

• Open to relocating to British Columbia's Okanagan region
