Join AZAD Technology Partners as an Electrical Engineering Technician andprovide electrical engineering tech support for the RAS Engineering organization. This assignment will provide confidential and professional services for a wide variety and large volume of project designs, drawings, communications, and associated / related documentation. Engineering technician services will be conducted following established policy, process, and practice, and will be provided to support Control Center or Substation work for Remedial Action Schemes Engineering to which this assignment will report. This assignment will provide engineering technician expertise, assisting project managers and other engineering personnel in implementing projects, supporting field maintenance crews, and other related engineering activities.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is full time on site based in Vancouver, WA with onsite 5 days per week. The hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.09) is up to $36.84 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in engineering technology, mathematics, computer science or a related field is preferred.
5 years of work experience is required with or without an applicable bachelor's degree.
Experience should include related work experience in a technical/engineering environment and should demonstrate increasing knowledge and responsibility.
Proficiency in use of CAD software.
Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a project team environment.
Experience with MicroStation CAD software.
Experience with ProjectWise.
