Job description

Position Type: Elementary School/Elementary School - French Immersion Date Posted: 5/7/2026 Location: Evangeline Elementary School Closing Date: 06/06/2026 One position for a full-time Elementary French Immersion Teacher at Evangeline Elementary School in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, 7:40 a.m. - 3:40 p.m., Monday - Friday. Teach all primary subjects in French language to elementary students in accordance with established curriculum. Develop lesson plans, undertake classroom instruction, maintain discipline, monitor student progress through testing, interface with parents, students, faculty, and administrators, and other normal faculty duties. Bachelor's degree in education and/or related field required. Must be certified to teach French to elementary students in the State of Louisiana by the Louisiana Department of Education.
