7:00 AM-5:30 PM

 $47.24 – $70.56/hr

Not every echocardiology position feels different. This one does.

At PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend, you'll spend your days inside the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute, a regional referral center known for advanced cardiovascular care. Here, patients arrive from across southern Oregon with complex cardiac conditions that require more than routine imaging. Your expertise helps uncover answers that influence treatment decisions, surgical planning, and patient outcomes.

Just as important, you'll have the schedule to enjoy life outside the hospital. This full-time day shift works four 10-hour days each week, creating three days for hiking, biking, fishing, family time, or simply recharging. It's a role that combines challenging clinical work with a lifestyle many healthcare professionals spend years trying to find.

At PeaceHealth, a highly trusted, person-first, values-driven organization, caregivers are treated with the same respect and compassion we extend to our patients. You can feel the difference in the way teams collaborate, support one another, and recognize the expertise every caregiver brings to the bedside.

Benefits Include
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer contributions and matching opportunities
  • Paid time off

  • Additional buy-up coverage options
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Continuing education support

Why You'll Love This Role
  • Work within a respected regional heart and vascular institute where complex cardiac imaging is part of everyday practice.
  • Enjoy a four-day workweek with three days off to enjoy the Pacific Northwest lifestyle.
  • Use independent clinical judgment and practice at the top of your profession.
  • Collaborate with experienced cardiologists and cardiovascular specialists on meaningful cases.
  • Build long-term career growth within a highly trusted healthcare organization that invests in caregiver wellbeing.

  • Team members who enjoy working alongside highly skilled cardiovascular specialists.
  • People who take pride in making a meaningful impact on patient care.

Why You'll Love Living Here

Springfield offers a balance that's becoming harder to find.

You can finish your workweek and spend the next day walking along the Willamette River, fishing the McKenzie, exploring local trails, discovering a new restaurant downtown, or driving a short distance to mountains, forests, and Oregon wine country.

It's large enough to provide excellent healthcare, dining, and culture, yet small enough that life feels manageable. Less commuting. More living.

Some cardiac sonographers spend years looking for a role where they're challenged clinically, trusted professionally, and still have time to enjoy life outside of work. This may be that place.

For a complete description of this position, or for questions, contact Andrea, atworek@peacehealth.org.

Working Conditions: This position requires standing, walking, frequent reaching, operating medical equipment, occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. May involve patient handling, exposure to biohazards and airborne particles, and requires the ability to communicate effectively with normal vision and hearing (with reasonable accommodations).

This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. There may be more than one opening on this posting.
