Job description

JOIN THE AREA'S LEADING LANDSCAPE SUPPLY COMPANY ! Lane Forest Products is currently looking for a Cashier/Loader Operator in the Wood Recycling yard.
Your primary responsibility will be greeting customers at the Kiosk and assessing the quantity of their load to charge accordingly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Open yard gates and Kiosk on time each morning.
  • Check out loaders and forklift that will be used that day.
  • Maintain control of traffic flow and customer dumping area.
  • Ensure customers don’t leave unwanted items in the yard.
  • Operate Forklift, complete all associated training and reviews as necessary
  • Operate Little Tractor, complete all associated training and reviews as necessary

Job Requirements:
 

  • High school or GED Diploma
  • Some basic customer service/cashier experience preferred
  • Be able to lift and pull 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday
  • Work outside year around
  • Forklift or Light Loader experience Preferred
