Position: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Location: 2830 N. 42nd Street Phoenix AZ 85018

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Weekdays (7:30am - 4pm)

Compensation: Starting at $20.00/hr, commensurate based on years of experience

Banner Physical Therapy is actively seeking a passionate and driven Strength & Conditioning Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will be working in the Phoenix Fire Department Health Center. This is a great opportunity to do meaningful work and grow with the nation's leader in outpatient physical therapy.

• Manage fitness files and do orientation for new athletes/staff.
• Supervise fitness facility and associate areas.
• Ensure safety measures are in place and safety education/practices are enforced.
• Keep all records secured and instituted, such as daily sign-in, fitness charts, team conditioning regimes & schedules, etc.
• Develop strength and conditioning programs for athletes, non-athletes, coaches, teams, and institute staff.
• Ensure continuous, consistent care with the athletic trainer and other medical providers associated with the facility.
• Maintain disinfectant spray bottles in the gym for athletes.
• Secure facility at the end of the day.


  • Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in sports medicine or exercise science
  • Certification as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist or close to completion
