What's the Role

The Financial Analyst serves as a key financial partner to our manufacturing operations, helping leaders understand performance, control costs, and make informed business decisions. This role supports plant and corporate leadership through financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and operational insights that drive efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and accounting teams to analyze production results, identify trends, and improve financial performance. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to connect financial data with day-to-day plant operations in a fast-paced production setting.

What You'll Own

• Analyze manufacturing costs, labor utilization, material consumption, and overhead spending

• Monitor and investigate production variances — yield, usage, labor, and efficiency — and recommend improvements

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports for plant and finance leadership

• Support inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and initiatives to reduce shrinkage, waste, and obsolescence

• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations, accrual analysis, and journal entries

• Partner with accounting teams to ensure manufacturing transactions are accurately recorded

• Support the annual budget process and periodic forecasting for labor, material, and overhead spending

• Partner with plant leadership on cost-saving opportunities and capital investment proposals

Requirements:

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

• 2–5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Manufacturing Finance, Cost Accounting, or a related analytical role

• Manufacturing industry experience required; food, industrial, consumer products, or packaging production environments strongly preferred

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting

• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools and ERP systems preferred

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable recommendations

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner across operations, supply chain, and accounting teams

• Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
