Our Program Services Division provides program management, construction oversight, and disaster recovery support for federal, state, and local clients-helping communities rebuild stronger and faster after natural disasters and large-scale events.

Position Summary

The Quality Inspector will play a key role in supporting the Program Services Division's mission by ensuring that all construction, repair, and mitigation projects meet LEMOINE's quality standards, contractual requirements, and applicable codes and regulations.

This position requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in construction quality control, inspection procedures, and documentation management. The Quality Inspector will conduct site inspections, review contractor work for compliance, and assist with reporting and verification for program deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily site inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

  • Document inspection results, including photos, field notes, and reports, ensuring clear and accurate recordkeeping.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Contractors to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Review construction materials, workmanship, and installation methods for conformance to requirements.

  • Support project teams by verifying completion milestones, preparing quality control documentation, and assisting with closeout packages.

  • Monitor and report non-conformances; ensure timely follow-up and resolution.

  • Maintain current knowledge of program guidelines, safety standards, and applicable building codes.

  • Participate in project meetings, quality audits, and training sessions as needed.

Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent field experience may be accepted.

  • Experience:

    • 2–5 years of experience in construction inspection, quality control, or similar field roles.

    • Experience with federally funded or disaster recovery programs (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR, or similar) preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and QA/QC processes.

  • Certifications:

    • OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.

    • ICC, ACI, or similar inspection certifications a plus.
