Your key responsibilities as a Family Nurse Practitioner will include:

• Delivering same-day acute care to patients experiencing common health issues, such as colds, coughs, sore throats, ear infections, urinary tract infections, minor lacerations, and soft tissue injuries.
• Conducting annual wellness exams to monitor patient health and identify potential health risks, implementing preventative strategies collaboratively with patients.
• Providing thorough follow-up care post-hospitalization to ensure a smooth transition and continuous care for patients returning to our practice.
• Participating in population health initiatives aimed at improving access to care for patients with chronic illnesses and urgent health needs.
• Adhering to standardized advanced practice protocols to maintain high-quality care and treatment consistency.
• Utilizing clinical expertise to assess patients' health conditions and create individual care plans tailored to their unique needs.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of patient interactions and care plans to ensure comprehensive communication within the healthcare team and continuity of care.

To be considered for the Family Nurse Practitioner role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and a Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland.
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications at the time of hire.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or the willingness to obtain it within six months of employment.

We require at least one year of recent clinical experience as a licensed Nurse Practitioner in settings such as primary care, urgent care, or emergency departments. Your previous hands-on experience, especially in family healthcare settings, will be hugely beneficial in ensuring a smooth transition into our practice.

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 149,000 – 208,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
