Citrus and Hernando County Employee Health and Wellness Centers
Who We Are
My Health Onsite manages employer sponsored health and wellness centers. Our medical team takes time to build strong relationships with our patients. No one is rushed in and out, and no one is a "number." Patients (ages 8 and up) may access a range of medical services including a dispensary, wellness services, and treatment for acute illnesses and chronic conditions. Enjoy a relaxed pace of only 12-15 patients a day and never have to worry about insurance or billing. Our programs go beyond caring for the sick and injured - we make prevention our number one goal.
My Health Onsite providers are responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in the health center, as well as prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery, prevent future health issues and promote a healthier lifestyle. Providers must exemplify exceptional customer service to patients and empower them to take control of their own health.
Schedule:
PRN - as needed
Essential Responsibilities
Perform physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses, including women's health
Order and interpret standard tests that will assist in diagnosing and treating patients
Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination
Educate patients regarding their illness and treatment, including self-care, prevention, and health maintenance
Document all assessments, actions, care and treatment responses, and communications in patient record in EMR
Assist the medical staff with procedures and treatments
Promote wellness educational programs
Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university
Graduate of an accredited APRN program approved by the Florida Board of Nursing
2+ years of clinical experience as an APRN, preferably in primary or urgent care setting
Current and unrestricted APRN license (Florida)
Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one (required for the position)
DEA license
BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
Autonomous APRN designation required
