Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Family Practice Physician in East Jordan, Michigan. The physician is responsible for the maintenance of healthcare and treatment of patients and renders professional services. While the physician holds full responsibility for medical judgment, he/she will work in close cooperation with the medical director for clinical matters and the administrator for administrative matters. Essential duties and responsibilities include: practices medicine within the guidelines and protocol, participates in development of the health care plan, develops a plan for each patient, orders of immunization of patients against communicable disease, confers with consulting physicians, nurses, patients concerning treatment and care, refer those cases which require specialist services, provide clinical coverage as needed, and provide customer service in accordance with health center mission. This is a full-time, 40-hour, five days per week position. Clinic hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Coverage is also needed one in four Saturdays, 9 am to 1:00 pm, however, is flexible. No hospital duty required and call is very limited. Average of 18-25 patients per day. Join a great team and apply today!

Qualifications:

Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred. Valid Michigan MD or DO license.
