Micron's Equipment Engineering organization is at the forefront of enabling advanced semiconductor manufacturing at scale within the newest U.S. memory fabrication facility. The Photolithography team collaborates closely with Manufacturing, Technology Development, Procurement, Facilities, and global engineering partners to drive equipment performance, innovation, and operational excellence. This team plays a meaningful role in delivering world-class yield, throughput, and cost performance.

As the ID1 EUV Photo Equipment Manager, you will lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for EUV and advanced photolithography equipment engineering. This role is accountable for setting the strategic vision, optimizing manufacturing performance, and aligning execution to Micron's global business objectives. You will partner internally and externally to enable best-in-class equipment capability while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop an elite EUV/photolithography equipment engineering team, establishing clear performance targets aligned to fab output, yield, and cost objectives.
  • Drive manufacturing optimization through equipment performance improvement, yield enhancement, throughput maximization, and cost reduction using data-driven methodologies.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Manufacturing, TD, ATE, Procurement, Facilities) and globally to deploy best-known methods (BKM), optimize capacity, and support tool lifecycle activities (installs, upgrades, relocations).
  • Leverage AI-enabled and AI-supported analytics to improve equipment performance, enable predictive maintenance, accelerate root cause analysis, and enhance decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement while engaging with suppliers to achieve benchmark equipment availability and performance.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field and 5+ years of photolithography semiconductor experience, or 10+ years of direct photolithography experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams or leading critical engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in equipment performance optimization, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions in a fab setting.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including EUV or advanced lithography toolsets.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams of 8+ engineers/technicians in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Experience with EUV lithography systems (e.g., ASML scanners) and supplier collaboration for equipment performance improvement.
  • Proven ability to apply Artificial Intelligence and AI-assisted tools for equipment analytics, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong track record influencing across global teams and presenting complex technical topics to senior leadership.
