**THIS IS A TRAVEL TECHNICIAN ROLE**
Field Service Technician (Loading Bridge Technician)
ERMC Aviation | Part of the Unifi Service Family
ERMC Aviation provides a comprehensive range of ground aviation services, including ticketing, ground handling, cabin cleaning, cargo handling, and the operations and maintenance of terminal and support facilities at some of the world's busiest airports.
We are currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician (Loading Bridge Technician) to join our team.
Position Summary
The Field Service Technician is responsible for performing maintenance-related work to ensure all facilities and equipment-specifically loading bridges-are maintained in a safe, reliable, and operational condition. This role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on loading bridges and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems
  • Work with basic AC and DC electrical systems
  • Safely operate and utilize material handling equipment
  • Maintain compliance with all safety, security, and operational procedures
  • Adapt to changing operational needs and priorities
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet operational demands

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed
  • Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
  • Training or equivalent knowledge of basic AC and DC electrical systems
  • Experience repairing and maintaining basic mechanical devices
  • Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
  • Ability to work in extreme conditions, including hot and cold weather and confined spaces
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required

Employment Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must possess a valid government-issued ID and Social Security card
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge, including passing a criminal background check
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
