Responsibilities:
Job Description
This position routinely performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software; is responsible for design, build, testing, and maintain those solutions
  • Provide tier-2 support of application incidents reported through the help desk; including 24/7 on call coverage as required.
  • Perform analysis to resolve application incidents, maintenance items, enhancement requests, upgrades / updates, and projects, collaborating with colleagues and across teams.
  • Develop and maintain requirements / specifications and test cases for new or enhanced functionality to department applications. Ensure the test scripts have been created, reviewed, and updated to reflect workflow solutions.
  • Modify Epic records, tables, and master files to support the application design, additions, and changes.
  • Implement changes using documented procedures that are compliant with department s policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate and contribute in team and cross-team meetings and maintain appropriate meeting records.
  • Have advanced understanding of your supported application, integration and general understanding of clinical/revenue cycle applications.
  • Work independently 100% of the time.
  • Promote teamwork within and with other teams
  • Ensure the test scripts have been created, reviewed, and updated to reflect workflow solutions.
  • Support the training team by keeping trainers abreast of new functionality and system changes.
  • Understanding of workflows, integration between application, downstream systems, and integrated workflows.
  • Create new workflows with collaboration of SME
  • Create solutions that allow our end users to be more productive and effective.

Hybrid: In office expected for individuals within 60 Miles of Albuquerque every Tues, Wed, Thurs.
Remote: Open to remote applicants in the United States, except for the following states: California, Illinois, North Dakota, New York, Ohio, Washington and Wyoming
Required Certificate: Epic Optime
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years' of IT or business experience.
  • 2 years of Epic specific experience. 6 years' of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Epic certified in supporting application plus additional proficiency/certification/badges in related application area
