Standard Envelopes Inc. is an envelope manufacturer located in Greensburg, PA. We are in search of highly trained machine adjusters that have a minimum of 10 years' experience working as an adjuster and a strong work ethic.

Envelope Machine Adjuster

  • Job Summary:*
  • Maintain and adjust automatic envelope converting/folding machines to produce a quality product at optimum performance to meet company and customer expectations.

ENVELOPE MACHINE ADJUSTER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set-up envelope converting/folding equipment for production runs including size changes and windows on W+D machines.
  • Monitor the machines on a continuous basis to ensure consistent operation, quality of product, minimal waste.
  • Provide reporting to supervisors and management at the end of each shift; sign off on daily production reports completed by machine operator.
  • Communicate with other shifts regarding concerns about equipment, maintenance, and all relevant information.
  • Schedules and performs maintenance to the envelope converting/folding machines on a regular basis.
  • Perform quality checks
  • May need to periodically act as a machine operator and complete other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain clean/safe immediate work area (as well the greater work area).
  • Additional tasks and projects as assigned

ENVELOPE MACHINE ADJUSTER QUALIFICATIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Basic reading, math, ruling and keyboard skills
  • Lifting 5-50 lbs. throughout shift
  • Ability to use hand tools, and work with inks, chemicals, solvents, and adhesives.
  • Standing 10-12 hours while performing production tasks
  • Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, turning throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Adherence to all safety rules including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and clothing that complies with Company policy
