Job Summary:
Compu-Vision Consulting Inc. is seeking a Documentation Specialist who will develop, organize, and maintain documentation to support software applications and IT systems. The role involves creating user manuals, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring documentation accuracy throughout the system lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user manuals, operating procedures, and training materials.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly language.
• Develop online help systems, knowledge base articles, and support documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business users to gather information.
• Ensure documentation remains accurate and current throughout the system lifecycle.
• Maintain document version control and publication standards.
• Support training initiatives through the development of instructional materials.
• Review documentation for quality, completeness, and consistency.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Technical writing and editing
• Documentation management
• Information organization and presentation
• Business and technical communication
• Research and analytical skills
• Knowledge management practices
Preferred:
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Information Technology, or related field
