Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Production Operators II & III with strong OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing experience to support pharmaceutical production operations in a cGMP-regulated environment. This role is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, executing batch processes, maintaining compliance with SOPs and FDA regulations, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
Candidates should have hands-on experience in one or more areas including Compression, Encapsulation, Coating, Granulation, Blending, or Wurster Coating.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment for weighing, blending, granulation, compression, encapsulation, coating, drying, milling, and dispensing
  • Perform equipment setup, cleaning, batch changeovers, and line clearance activities per SOPs
  • Execute batch production processes and complete Batch Production Records (BPRs) accurately
  • Conduct in-process quality checks, sampling, and documentation in compliance with cGMP and FDA standards
  • Troubleshoot production and equipment issues to minimize downtime
  • Maintain cleanroom, safety, and PPE compliance standards
  • Support continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and process optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet production schedules and quality goals
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2–5+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience in OSD production
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and SOP compliance
  • Experience with Compression, Encapsulation, Coating, Granulation, or Blending operations
  • Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical equipment such as Fette tablet presses, MG2 encapsulation machines, Korsch XM 12, or similar
  • Experience with Glatt, Pan Coating, or Wurster Coating preferred
  • Ability to perform equipment cleaning, setup, and troubleshooting
  • Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear required PPE
Preferred Skills:
  • Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma knowledge
  • Batch record documentation and QA/QC procedures
  • Forklift certification (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
