Job Summary:
The Southwest Healthcare team is seeking an on-site Full-Time Clinical Systems Analyst who is a registered RN in the State of California. This position will be onsite at our Corona Regional Medical Center location. This position w orks closely with clinical team members, Information Services (I.S.) peers, staff and providers, providing operational guidance to gain understanding of objectives and needs, increase efficiencies and effectiveness of workflow and clinical documentation. Duties include but not limited to:
  • Provides necessary training, experience and technical support to ensure all aspects of the electronic medical record (EMR) are utilized effectively.
  • Analyzes, defines and applies clinical and technical knowledge to solve complex problems within the EMR and workflows.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting problems and challenges within the EMR which may include software, hardware, and workflow issues.
  • This position has a 4/10 work schedule.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited College or University in Nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in Nursing preferred.
  • Two (2) to Three (3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) required, acute care experience preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of California.
  • Must have valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation. Job requires travel between facilities on a daily basis.
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
  • Candidate must be a self-starter with initiative, ability, and drive to investigate and solve problems to support functions throughout all facilities.
  • Will have a strong understanding of the clinical workflow in an environment that utilizes an electronic medical record.
  • Familiarity with computer equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Order Management systems and Clinical Documentation (written or automated)
  • Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills needed.
  • Proponent of on-line Clinical Documentation/Electronic Medical Record.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Cerner Millennium PowerChart preferred.
  • Information Services experience providing Clinical Application Support preferred.
