Who We Need
We are looking for a full-time Embedded Software Engineer in Jessup, PA.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop embedded systems using existing AssetLink custom hardware designs and proprietary AssetLink 'Coconut', 'AP', and 'Vulcan' firmware/software ecosystem, for consumer and industrial electronics developed for custom AssetLink solutions.
  • Knowledge of AssetLink's custom scripting languages and custom architectures, in order to train and support both new and existing AssetLink employees.
  • Write and optimize firmware for AssetLink-developed microcontrollers and processors using internal scripting and software languages.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate custom software and hardware components.
  • Conduct system testing and debugging based on knowledge of system functionality to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for proprietary embedded system designs, integrating hardware, firmware, software, and custom-built cloud computing systems on bare metal servers.
  • Train and supervise technicians for testing and monitoring of AssetLink solutions and integrated devices.

Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 years (36 months) of experience as an electrical and embedded engineer working on battery remote devices
