Job description

Polisher: South Beloit, Illinois
Our customer in South Beloit, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Polishers to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Polisher, you will be responsible for grinding, polishing, and finishing stainless steel parts to meet high-quality pharmaceutical industry standards.
Responsibilities of the Polisher:
  • Grind, polish, and buff stainless-steel parts with complex contours, radii, and recesses to meet specification requirements.
  • Select appropriate polishing methods, abrasives, and tools based on job requirements.
  • Operate and maintain polishing and finishing equipment safely and accurately.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure surface quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform electropolishing tasks as needed to enhance surface finish and quality.
  • Work closely with team members to meet production schedules and workflow goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Polisher Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience grinding, polishing, and buffing stainless steel parts required.
  • Electropolishing or electroplating experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
  • Familiarity with polishing safety standards and proper tool handling.
  • Ability to lift and carry parts up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
Pay for Polisher: $24.00–$28.00/hour.
