Our Rocky Hill, CT facility is certified to UL508A, UL891, UL687A, and UL98B standards, ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance across a wide range of industrial and renewable energy applications.
We are experiencing tremendous growth and are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and drive excellence in product development, process design, and compliance as we continue our growth rollout plan.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary electrical engineering team, ensuring on-time and high-quality project delivery.
  • Design and develop control panels, renewable energy protection systems and data center power configurations in compliance with UL and ISO standards.
  • Interpret customer requirements, specifications and documentation and collaborate with production, quality assurance, and sales teams to translate customer requirements into manufacturable solutions.
  • Prepare preliminary and final CAD submittals, BOMs and other documentation as needed to support proposals and final manufacturing and assembly (this is an individual contributor and manager role).
  • Drive innovation in design processes, tools, and techniques to improve performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
  • Provide technical leadership during product development lifecycle, including design reviews and risk analysis.
  • Manage engineering resources and project schedules to meet company goals and customer timelines.
  • Support quality control and testing to ensure all products meet rigorous safety and performance standards.
  • Interface with customers and vendors on technical matters as needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 7 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC codes and UL508A, UL891, UL687A, UL98B requirements and ISO9001 standards.
  • Proven experience in design and implementation of automation control systems and/or renewable power circuitry.
  • Experience with electrical CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical).
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley/ Rockwell products is highly desirable.
  • Experience with data center electrical designs is a plus.
  • Experience with EPICOR or similar MRP.
  • Immediate hire, start within 2 weeks.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Rocky Hill, CT.
