Electrical Engineer

Horner amp; Shifrin is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer in our Building Services unit. For this position we are seeking someone with 0-5 years of experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Design of electrical lighting, power, and auxiliary systems for education, recreational, commercial, housing, and healthcare buildings. Projects also include water/wastewater, and the education sector
  • Prepare electrical, low voltage, and special systems project construction documents and specifications
  • Assist in the preparation of project fees and budgets
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or the ability to obtain
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
  • Strong ability to work in both AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience in building electrical systems preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to traverse sites, including walking over rough terrain
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must complete a background check
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
SALARY RANGE:
