 Requisition ID: 42590 Job DescriptionMcCrum is a division of McCain Foods USA. Electrical Supervisor We at McCrum have an immediate opening for a full-time Electrical Supervisor in our Washburn, Maine potato processing facility. Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership:Supervise, mentor, and schedule a team of industrial electricians and Controls Techs. Foster a collaborative environment focused on professional growth and safety.System Maintenance:Oversee the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical systems, including 3-phase power distribution, Motor Control Centers, VFDs, and instrumentation.Automation & PLC Support:Manage and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and HMI interfaces to minimize downtime on the production floor.Proactive Strategy:Maintain and execute a robust Preventative Maintenance program for all electrical assets, utilizing a CMMS to track work orders and equipment reliability.Safety & Compliance:Ensure all work adheres to National Electrical Code.  Enforce strict adherence to LOTO, and food safety standards.Project Management:Collaborate with the Maintenance and Production departments on facility upgrades, new equipment installs, and reliability audits.Resource Management:Oversee spare parts inventory to ensure needed parts are in stock when needed. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors. Requirements:Licensure:Must hold a valid State of Maine Master Electrician LicenseExperience:Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.Industry Background:Previous experience in food processing or a high-volume manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.Technical Skills: *Deep understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.Strong knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and automated process systems.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure equipment failures.Availability:Ability to work 40 + hours per week and provide on-call support as required. McCrum is a division of McCain Foods USA. Compensation Package: Starting at $27.00 USD hourly  The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
