The successful candidates will join a collegial faculty community that includes established senior faculty as well as recently appointed colleagues. They will teach and mentor graduate students in an active Ph.D. program in Research, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment (RESA), offered on campus and fully online, while providing research-methodology expertise across the School of Education. Areas of research interest are open. These positions will be especially appealing to scholars who enjoy graduate mentoring, collaboration, and applying rigorous research and analytic methods to consequential questions in education and related fields.
Southern Miss combines the research opportunities of a Carnegie R1 university with the personal connections of a close-knit, interdisciplinary academic community. New faculty join a School of Education that values meaningful scholarship, excellent graduate teaching, cross-program collaboration, and intentional support for faculty development.
