Job description

CLMI Group is seeking a Project Manager III - Technology (PMIS) to support the Los Angeles Community College District's (LACCD) BuildLACCD capital improvement program. This is a full-time staff augmentation placement embedded with LACCD's Program Management Office (PMO) on a district-wide basis, anticipated to start July 2026.
You will lead the planning, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Project Management Information Systems (PMIS), serving as the primary liaison between executive leadership, PMO teams, IT departments, finance, contractors, and consultants. This is a mission-critical role at the intersection of construction program delivery and enterprise technology - ideal for a practitioner who has lived on both sides of that line.
Requirements
What you'll do
  • Lead transition from legacy PMIS (Proliance) to Trimble Unity Construct (eBuilder), including data migration, workflow configuration, and system stabilization
  • Serve as Owner's Representative for PMIS implementation and modernization across a multi-campus, multi-hundred-million-dollar capital program
  • Coordinate PMIS integration with financial systems (Deltek Costpoint), including invoice workflows, budget tracking, and cost reporting
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), end-user training, and post go-live support across PMO, finance, facilities, and contractor teams
  • Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and executive-level analytics supporting project controls and financial oversight
  • Drive change management and organizational adoption across a diverse user base of 100+ stakeholders
  • Manage system governance standards, enhancement backlogs, and vendor coordination
What you bring
  • 10+ years supporting large-scale capital programs, PMO systems, or construction technology initiatives
  • Hands-on experience with Trimble Unity Construct (eBuilder) - configuration, workflow build-out, or implementation lead
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint or equivalent construction accounting/ERP integration
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a PMIS migration or modernization effort (Proliance โ†’ eBuilder experience a strong plus)
  • Fluency in capital program accounting: budgeting, change orders, invoice approval routing, payment applications, cost forecasting
  • Experience on public-sector, higher education, airport, or infrastructure programs preferred
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred; Agile/SCRUM familiarity required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field

Benefits
CLMI Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
The offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The salary range for this position is $170,000-175,000.
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Retirement Plan (401k)
  • 401k Matching
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Short Term / Long Term Disability / Life
