Do you love working with young children? Are you energetic, positive, and passionate about helping kids build confidence through sports?
Soccer Shots New Orleans is looking for a Children’s Enrichment Instructor to join our team. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants to build a meaningful career in early childhood development, coaching, and leadership. No Sports Experience Required!

You’ll spend your week creating fun, memorable experiences for children ages 18 months–8 years old through Soccer Shots sessions at schools and parks throughout the Greater New Orleans area, including Metairie, Uptown New Orleans, Mid City New Orleans, Kenner, the Westbank, and Chalmette.

What You’ll Do

Coach & Create Amazing Experiences for Children
  • Lead 30-35 Soccer Shots sessions each week for children ages 18 months–8 years old at schools and parks throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
  • Create a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where every child feels successful.
  • Deliver our proven curriculum with enthusiasm, professionalism, and consistency.
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, teachers, and school partners.

Support Coaching Operations

  • Work alongside the Executive Director and Coaching Support team.
  • Assist with daily team needs.
  • Use tools like Connecteam and Monday.com to stay organized and support team success.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Energetic, dependable, and fun to be around.
  • Passionate about making a positive impact on young children.
  • A strong communicator who enjoys building relationships.
  • Organized, coachable, and eager to learn.
  • Excited about developing leadership skills and growing with our team.
Required Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children ages 18 months–8 years old (teaching, coaching, childcare, camps, recreation, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Schedule

  • Full-time salaried position.
  • Monday–Friday schedule.
  • Some evening availability required.
  • Saturday morning programming opportunities available with additional compensation.
Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: $35,000 annually
  • 100% reimbursement for all work-related fuel expenses. 
  • 5 days of Paid Time Off + additional PTO earned each year.
  • More than four weeks of paid holidays annually, including Christmas/New Year’s, Mardi Gras week, and Thanksgiving week.
  • 401(k) eligibility.
