Our team operates like a family, and we are looking for an energetic, organized, and detail-oriented Office Manager to lead our front office operations and help us deliver exceptional care to our patient families.

Position Overview

If you believe that true team morale is built on high standards, punctuality, and operational execution, this is the leadership position for you. As our Practice Manager, you will serve as the operational backbone of the office. You will command the front desk, oversee the clinical flow, and establish firm systems of accountability. We fully back your management authority—giving you the autonomy to build an elite, frictionless environment so our clinical providers can focus entirely on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Office Leadership: Greet families, answer phone calls, manage the pediatric recall system, and maintain a productive, balanced schedule for our single provider.
  • Eaglesoft Management: Utilize Eaglesoft daily to track patient records, handle digital charting workflows, manage account ledgers, and pull monthly practice reports.
  • Payer & Claims Management: Oversee a mix of 70% private PPO insurance and 30% Connecticut Medicaid (HUSKY Health).
  • Billing & Collections: Submit claims, follow up on outstanding balances, process pre-authorizations, and manage denials efficiently to minimize revenue leaks.
  • Treatment Presentation: Confidently present pediatric treatment plans to parents, explaining coverage variations between PPO plans and Medicaid options.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dental front-office experience (required). Experience in a pediatric or family practice is highly preferred.
  • Software: Hands-on proficiency with Eaglesoft software (preferred).
  • Insurance Expertise: Strong working knowledge of dental billing, pre-authorization, and claims processes. Direct experience navigating CT HUSKY Health/Medicaid guidelines is a major plus.
  • Attributes: Exceptional multi-tasking skills, a welcoming personality that puts children and parents at ease, and strong problem-solving capabilities.
