Job Summary: Teaching Dental Hygiene Clinicals
Fall Semester 2024 teaching hours and days will vary.
Teaching Dental Hygiene Clinicals
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene or related field required.
Must be a graduate of an ADA accredited Dental Hygiene program.
Possess a current TN license as a dental hygienist or be license eligible.
Have a minimum of three years of full-time private practice experience.
Have current CPR certification or complete prior to beginning position.
Have minimal computer skills such as ability to utilize Word, PowerPoint, and email.
Able to perform normal duties with minimal supervision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrate ability to work harmoniously with the staff, faculty, and public and perform normal duties with minimal supervision. .
Possess a working knowledge of dental office practice management software such as EagleSoft and dental imaging software preferred.
Possess prior knowledge of educational methodology (preferred) or willingness to complete required educational methodology assignments.
Demonstrate willingness to learn new instructional techniques and technologies.
