Job description

Caring Angels Home Care is looking for a full-time dynamic Occupational Therapist for our Home based Pediatric cases. This position offers a starting salary of $125,000.00 plus an excellent benefits package which includes: Medical and Dental insurance, 401k Plan after only 3 Months of Employment, 26 Paid Time Off Days, 10 Paid Holidays and a paid Birthday day-off. FFS available at $100.00 rate per 30 minute Session. The option to cover Case Load on Weekends is available. Our agency has won numerous awards for employee satisfaction and patient care.

Occupational Therapist Job Description

  • Assessing the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan

  • Giving advice and providing support for family members and Carers

  • Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient

  • Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances

  • Assisting patients’ exercise for pain relief

  • Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly

  • Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls
