As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and sharing information through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support mall and retail operations by assisting with crowd management, directing foot traffic during busy periods, and providing courteous assistance during store openings, closings, and/or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
