Quality Services Moving is seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to oversee daily dispatch operations, fleet coordination, and crew management across a fast-paced moving and logistics environment.

This role is responsible for leading day-to-day operational execution, coordinating high-volume scheduling, supporting field teams, and ensuring customer service, efficiency, and accountability remain at the highest level. The ideal candidate is decisive under pressure, operationally driven, and comfortable leading in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who takes ownership, communicates effectively, and consistently drives operational performance.


The Impact You’ll Make

As the Operations Manager, you will play a central role in keeping operations organized, crews deployed efficiently, and customers supported throughout the day.

Your ability to coordinate dispatch activity, manage field operations, solve problems in real time, and maintain accountability across teams will directly impact operational efficiency, service quality, employee performance, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Fleet Operations

  • Coordinate daily dispatch operations involving 30+ trucks and 50–100 employees
  • Manage scheduling, routing, and real-time operational adjustments throughout the day
  • Ensure crews, equipment, and materials are assigned and deployed efficiently
  • Monitor operational activity to maintain productivity, timing, and service expectations
  • Support fleet readiness and operational coordination across multiple moving crews


Leadership & Team Oversight

  • Provide direct leadership and operational support to crews, drivers, and dispatch personnel
  • Hold employees accountable to company standards, procedures, and performance expectations
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with field teams, customers, and internal departments
  • Assist with coaching, problem resolution, and maintaining a productive team environment
  • Lead by example and step into operational situations when additional support is needed


Problem Solving & Operational Execution

  • Respond quickly to schedule changes, operational challenges, customer concerns, and field issues
  • Make fast, practical decisions to maintain workflow and minimize disruptions
  • Prioritize operational efficiency while maintaining customer service standards
  • Identify inefficiencies and support continuous operational improvement


Customer & Service Coordination

  • Maintain communication with customers regarding scheduling updates and operational changes
  • Ensure service execution aligns with company expectations and customer needs
  • Support a positive customer experience through strong organization and follow-through


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, fleet management, moving operations, or related operational leadership roles
  • Ability to consistently report to work for a 6:45 AM start time
  • Willingness to work overtime as operational needs require
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
  • Valid driver’s license required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Household goods or moving industry experience
  • Experience managing high-volume field operations
  • Leadership or supervisory experience within logistics or operations environments
