Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are recruiting a board-certified (or board-eligible) non-invasive cardiologist with advanced expertise in Cardiac CT to join our growing service line. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a cardiologist with training or a strong interest in cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, structural imaging, and complex echocardiography.

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold COCATS Level III training in Cardiac CT (required) and Cardiac MRI (strongly preferred).
  • Provide expert interpretation of coronary CT angiography, structural heart CT, and pre-procedural planning for TAVR, TMVR/TEER, tricuspid interventions, and LAAO.
  • Participate in multimodality imaging, with additional skills in transthoracic and/or transesophageal echocardiography preferred.
  • Collaborate closely with the structural heart, interventional, and heart failure teams to support a high-volume, programmatic approach to complex cardiovascular care.
  • Engage in education and mentorship of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers; academic and research interests in cardiac imaging are encouraged and supported.

Job Requirements
  • MD/DO Degree
  • Cardiovascular Disease (Board Certified/Board Eligible)
  • Echocardiography (BC/BE)
  • Nuclear experience preferred.
  • Academic experience in teaching residents and/or cardiology fellows preferred
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
  • Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position

Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff who cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 sub-specialty services. The physicians and APPs provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.  DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.
