What is a full time DevSecOps?

Full Time DevSecOps roles involve professionals who work to integrate security practices into every stage of the software development lifecycle while also managing development (Dev) and operations (Ops) tasks. These roles focus on automating security processes, monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, and collaborating with development and IT teams to ensure applications are built and deployed securely. Full time positions typically require hands-on experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and security tools, enabling organizations to maintain secure, efficient, and compliant technology environments.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time DevSecOps professional?

To thrive as a Full Time DevSecOps professional, you need expertise in software development, security best practices, automation, and cloud infrastructure, often supported by a degree in computer science or related certifications like CompTIA Security+ or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
