Job description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide nursing care within the Alcohol Detox Unit at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This 13-week contract is suited for an RN with a strong acute care background.

Position Details
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Openings:2 Full-time RNs
    • 1 Day Shift RN
    • 1 Night Shift RN
  • Schedule: Two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts
  • Weekends & Holidays: As needed
  • Pay: Starting at $38.95, Pay rates will be determined by experience.
QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited university; or
  • Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited university
Experience
  • Must have at least 2 years of acute care hospital nursing experience in Medical-Surgical care
Certifications
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
Licensure
  • Valid nursing license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth
