MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN AUTO PARTS TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION.
 
Parts Assistant at M & F Auto works closely with our Parts Manager to manage daily operations of the Service Department.
 Your primary role is to deliver parts, to pick up parts, return parts and keep track of parts inventory.
Essential Duties
  • Call to order parts and pick them up when they are ready.
  • Deliver parts to technicians and get unused parts from them.
  • Collect Cores, warranty parts and unused parts to process and return to vendor.
  • Keeping track of unused parts and returned parts.
  • Keeping the parts organized Using our Dealertrack and XTime software system.
  • Ensure our parts inventory is properly stocked.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the parts department.
  • Make sure we are receiving credits or refunds for returned parts.
  • Assists the service department by moving vehicles as needed and delivering vehicles.
  • Give customers a ride to and from the dealership when needed for vehicles that are brought in for service.
  • Assist in washing cars when shorthanded.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to learn our software systems
  • Must enjoy doing paperwork and calculating returned parts
  • Must be organized and able to multi-task

License/Certification:
  • ASE Certification (Preferred)
