Job description

Intelligence Analyst

The Opportunity:

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our military every day, we need an intel analyst like you to do just that. As an intelligence analyst, you use your specializedmilitary experience and your attention to detail to develop reports, intelligence products, analytic assessments, and mission planning recommendations to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support airborne intelligence operations.

As an intelligence analyst on our team, you'll help your client understand their operational landscape and enhance collection opportunities. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you'll explore new data sources, develop effective queries and combine information from disparate sources including SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, HUMINT, and all-source. You'll validate information and apply client tradecraft as you build assessments for warfighters, partner agencies, and internal client publications. As the authority on your subject your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure.

This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in Airborne ISR operations and share your methodologies with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you'll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. You Have:

  • Experience with airborne ISR operations creating, analyzing, and utilizing SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, and MASINT products

  • Experience with managing and coordinating intelligence activities and integrating ISR with combat operations

  • Experience as a DoD or IC Intelligence Analyst

  • Experience in Collections Management

  • Experience working in Air Operations Centers

  • Knowledge of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems for making recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities and threat assessments to interpret policy and commit resources

  • Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, provide accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure and present or justify a position effectively

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with development of plans and requirements

  • Experience in Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E)

  • Experience as a DoD or IC Instructor or Evaluator

  • Knowledge of ISR infrastructure, C2 or C4ISR schema, intelligence, and Multi-Domain Command and Control (MDC2) theory of operation

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Graduate of a USAF Weapons School

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
