Full Time Daycare Cook Position

Job Title: Daycare Cook

We are seeking a dependable and organized Cook to join our daycare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preparing nutritious meals for young children while maintaining a safe and clean kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan weekly menus in accordance with Child Care Food Program (CCFP) guidelines
  • Prepare and serve healthy snacks and lunches as scheduled
  • Ensure meals meet nutritional standards and portion requirements
  • Safely accommodate children with food allergies and dietary restrictions
  • Maintain compliance with all sanitation and health regulations
  • Keep kitchen, food prep areas, and storage areas clean and organized
  • Maintain accurate food records and inventory

Qualifications:

  • Experience in food preparation, preferably in a childcare or school setting
  • Knowledge of nutrition guidelines and food safety standards
