Job description

The Staff Pad has partnered with a respected healthcare organization in Blue Ridge, GA to hire a Medical Receptionist to support the daily clinic operations and an exceptional patient experience.

This front office role is responsible for scheduling, registration, insurance verification, medical records, payments, and other administrative functions that keep the clinic running smoothly and efficiently.

Shift: Full-Time | Days

What You'll Do

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments
  • Answer and route multi-line phone calls
  • Register patients, verify insurance information
  • Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR
  • Collect co-pays and balance daily cash transactions
  • Process medical records, filing, copying, and faxing
  • Manage Athena Inbox tasks in a timely manner
  • Support providers with accurate patient information
  • Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of medical office experience required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Medical office and medical terminology knowledge preferred
